Maria Canela

Hi my name is Maria Canela, and I'm originally from the Dominican Republic.

I began practicing Bikram yoga 7 years ago and became a teacher in the fall of 2007. I have learned to fully trust and believe in the Bikram method, and as the man himself says, "The only way out is through."

Though I am a certified instructor, each day I teach is a learning experience for me. This process is never ending and I look forward to sharing this growing experience with you.

Moo Napasorn

I was born and raised in Thailand. Ten years ago I moved to the United States.

I have been practicing Bikram yoga since 2004. In the spring of 2008, I became a certified Bikram yoga instructor.

Initially I studied Bikram to control my weight, but since then I realized this was a life changing experience. I would like you all to enjoy this experience together with me!

Afton Carraway

Afton began practicing Bikram Yoga in 2004 and became a certified instructor in 2007.

She has a background as a professional dancer. Afton was selected to be a demonstrator at the Bikram Teacher Training graduation. She placed 2nd at the Florida Regional Yoga Championship in 2007 and placed 1st in 2008 and 2009 causing her to advance to the USA National Yoga Championship.

Afton attened the Judge's Clinic and Bikram's Advanced Training in 2009. Recertified in 2009. Once again in 2010, Afton placed 1st in the Florida Regional Yoga Championship, and placed 3rd in the USA National Yoga Championship.

Anna Hunter

Anna has been practicing Bikram Yoga since 2001 and has been a certified instructor since 2006.

She holds degrees in Fashion Buying & Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Horticulture from Long Beach City College in California. Anna competed in the 2007 Florida Regional Yoga Asana Championship. She has also competed in ballroom dancing and martial arts. Recertified in 2009.

Joe Cuccaro

Joe began practicing Bikram Yoga in 2004 and became a certified instructor in 2007.

He also holds a Business Degree in Operations Research and Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University. Joe has been employed by Darden Restaurants in their Information Technology dept. since 1977. Recertified in 2010.

Shari Wilczynski

Shari has been practicing Bikram Yoga since 2005 and became a certified instructor in 2007.

Shari also holds an Associates in Art degree from Valencia. Recertified in 2010.

Norm Singletary

Norm began practicing Bikram Yoga in 2006 and became a certified instructor in 2007.

He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Central Florida and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida.

Debora Fahmy

Debora began practicing Bikram Yoga in 2001. She and her family were some of Bikram Yoga Orlando's very first students. Debora became a certified instructor in 2007.

She and her husband are the owners of Karadema Jewelers. Recertified in 2010.

Doug Shorts

Doug began practicing Bikram Yoga in 2006 and has been a certified instructor since the Spring of 2008.

He also holds an Associates of Arts Degree in General Studies and an Associates of Science Degree in Music Production and Performance.
